Meadville, PA is a city in Crawford County, and it also serves as the county seat. As of 2010, nearly 13,400 residents called this community home, and it served as the first permanent settlement located in northwest Pennsylvania. Meadville is conveniently located 40 miles from Erie and 90 miles from Pittsburgh, and the city is home to the liberal arts college Allegheny College.
